Week 2 recap

so last night was week 2 of the gathering. we Experienced a night of prayer, and were able to Spend time praying with eachother and as. i think we could have had more people open up, every one in the room knew each, so there was no awkwardness that i know of. I think getting to gether and praying isn't something that we get alot of in most local church's and this night could have been a great experience for everyone if they would be open to the idea. it isn't very seeker friendly, but i think a night of prayer like that could definately be good for the first timer because Jesus was a part of it. in fact that could be just as inviting or impacting to a non christian As long as GOd is in it..i can't stand it when people say the church needs to be shallow to reach new people... its not about the church reaching people its about Christ drawing them to himsel.. all the church should focus on is showing them Jesus. and going deeper in their walk...
