Amazing.

What is amazing to you? I had a friend in college who was on a quest to limit his use of the word amazing to things that had to do with the Liberating King Jesus. i never had the will power because that word is interwoven into every aspect of my vocabulary. but when i think about it i give some of the most mundane things way to much credit by calling them amazing. Things that people do, say and write i sometimes consider amazing. Situations we get into can sometimes amaze, but that is a watered down amazement. i think my friend was right when he decided to do that. The Creator is the only thing that should, or ever could truly amaze us. from the beauty of every day to the intricacies of the human body and the ever beating heart, to the example of the liberating King Jesus and the Creator's love for us. Truly amazing. Amazing on a Whole different level than human comprehension. so now do we have the will power not to cheapen the word amazing and lump it in with human capability?
