Legacy

My God,
The One who created heaven and earth,
The one who caused the big bang.
Who is bigger than time, and yet holds every electron in orbit around every atom nucleus.
You are why i am here.
I am not here to be a part of a corporation, and climb my way to the top so i can make something of myself. I am not here to leave a Legacy so that people will talk about me for years and years to come.
I am not here to be a part of the largest church in the country, or county, or neighborhood for that matter.
I am here to serve You.
The Legacy i leave is your legacy.
One that after i am gone they talk about what you did.
I am here to Be the church, to be your resurrected body.
Our relationship is not one where i ask you for a little help when i cannot do it on my own.
I am not supposed to make it,
I am not supposed to be independent,
I have no Strength.
You are my strength, and i must depend on You.
I am not here to make it safely to death,
just the thought of that is ridiculous.
I wanna skid into it, worn out, bruised and scraped, with nothing left.
Vince Lombardi says the greatest feeling in the world is laying on the field of battle knowing you couldn't have gone any more, you gave everything you had, and no matter the points on the scoreboard, you know you are victorious.
The only thing in life that can give you that is the cross we bear in Christ.
