Thank God for the Jesus Freaks

Why is it that there are so few people one can really engage in a conversation with?
Why are there so few who want to go deeper and farther past the normalcy of hey how are you.
I find the people that I am drawn to and feel a stronger connection with,
are the ones that I can actually talk to and share problems with and concerns.
It isn't like these people are always the ones I have known the longest.
There are people I have known for 15 years that all I can say is hey hows it going, hows the wife and kids, weather looks good don't it.
It's not that I haven't tried, but it seems like they were either bashing what i had to say, or their eyes were glazed over waiting on their turn to talk.
I just met a guy 3 weeks ago and we have had more deep conversations about God and his word than I have ever had with some of my long term friends.
I guess it shows what is really important to people.
They may put on the facade that God is important but they spend most of their time talking about trucks and golf.
 I thank God for the people that I cannot get together with, without ending up in some sort of deep conversation.
The People that cant help but preach God's Word
Those are the relationships that I will Hold on to and fight for.
The ones who show that God is important to them because every time we talk we end up talking about him. Sometimes we question,
Sometimes we proclaim,
Sometimes we talk about the church,
But no matter what when we get together, Jesus is our focus.
